Press info: | "Feurio!" - an archaic call already used in the 16th century to warn people from a danger that even today is chilling us to the bone: A fire is out of control! In Feurio! the innovative boardgame released by Edition Erlkoenig, the players are confronted with the unusual task of fighting a raging forest fire to bring it under control. Each player (up to four can play - age 10 years and up) is commanding a team of 12 men. These men must be placed tactically in the burning forest parts to fight the fire effectively. Part of the task is to send the men to the strongest burning parts but on the other side they must not lose contact to the live saving water. At the end of the game (about 30 minutes playing time) it will be clear who placed his men in the best way to control the fire and thus will be the hero of the day. Additionally Feurio! is playable solitaire and in cooperation - in the cooperative version all players work together against bad odds to control the fire.
