Press info:Mamoonia is a 2-3 hour-lenght adventure fantasy game for 1-6 players, where every player plays the role of one of the King Joseph's sons. They should try to put together the amulet powers again, seeking and discovering which ones, among the 12 fragments, are the 4 real ones. In order to reach such a goal, players must make their own characters progress, by increasing their physical strenght and mental powers and by gaining enough experience points to be admitted in the different Orders. The High Priests will help them to face such a difficult task: their heroes start as Apprentices, then they grow into Mistic Warriors, Knights Wizards, Sorcerer Sword-Masters and conclude their evolution becoming capable and powerful Masters of War and Magic.

The board depicts the Hystorian Land. It is divided into Regions. Each of them depicts its own kind of ground (Mountain, Wood, Plain, Lake, Desert and Marsh) and 6 inhabitated places where the heroes will carry out their own actions during their turn.
On the board there are also 12 blank places, where the Sacred Places will be placed by chance (see 2.2). In this way every game will be a different one and every time players' fun and interest are assured.
On the outer edge of the board is depicted a series of following spaces, which is useful to keep in mind the spending of time and of game turns. Each turn is equivalent to half-day. In order to complete one day, two turns must be played: one of them takes place by day, while the other one by night. A whole play lasts 27 days (54 turns): in such a lenght of time heroes will have to reach their own goal, otherwise...the game will win!!

The core of the game consists of the fulfilment of the missions that the Masters assign the heroes in order to increase their experience. At the beginning of the game, every player may seek one of the Temples of the white Order, the first one where he is admitted and received as "Apprentice" by his Mentor, who will give them a Mission Card of the pertinent level (the first one, in this case). In the course of the game, heroes are enabled to enter just the Temples of the Order they are affiliated with and, there, they always receive a Mission Card pertinent to their own level. When one of the players becomes a member of the red Order, they draw 2nd level Mission Cards and from the black Order on, 3rd level ones.
Each Mission Card states what the hero should do to increase his own experience. The player places one "Start" Mission Counter of theirs in the place illustrated by the card, showing their starting point, to keep in mind the location where they may go, and one "End" Mission Counter in the place where they will accomplish their mission. Each hero can't deal with more than 4 simultaneous missions (so every player can't have more than 4 Mission Cards in their hand), but they are not bound to fulfil one before starting another one: they may accomplish their missions when they want and follow the order they prefer.
